Good afternoon,
Just to let you all know that tomorrow 8/25/23, UNO will be testing it’s Emergency alert/notification system. This is the system that includes the siren. The test will happen at 11:50 am and should only take 3 minutes. People inside of their homes probably will not even hear it, it is meant for students who are walking around outside on the campus.
There may be a possibility that the neighbors close to the campus may hear something. If you would not mind please notify the folks on your mailing lists and let them know that this is only a test of the UNO system
