Dearest Lake Terrace Neighbors,
We have had a challenging few weeks including a serious event yesterday. We are thankful to say the suspect involved in yesterday's event has been apprehended and in custody. More importantly, nobody from our neighborhood was injured.
We will have full details of yesterday's developments at the meeting. We strongly encourage everyone to attend this upcoming meeting. Lake Terrace has some very important large issues that greatly affect our quality of life and the LTCPD will need your support. Attending the meeting should provide you with a better understanding of the challenges we face and an opportunity to have your voice heard.
Lastly, although online forums have their place, we notice a significant amount of inaccurate information that is being posted on sites like Nextdoor, Facebook, and others. The crime meetings is your chance hear the information directly from NOPD, Levee Police and our Security people first hand.
